Registered Psychologist & Sexologist
Hi, I’m Caitlin (she/her).
I have worked with a wide range of clients across the lifespan, with a range of families of origin, social and cultural backgrounds, and diverse experiences of gender and sexuality. To both further expand on my studies in psychology and develop my areas of interest, I am currently studying a Master of Sexology. I am particularly interested in encouraging inclusivity, self-compassion, self-acceptance and sex-positivity, as well as improving erotic intelligence, both emotional and sexual intimacy, and broadening sexual repertoires.
I welcome clients from LGBTQIA+, non-monogamous, kink, and sex worker communities.
My therapeutic style is person-centred and strengths based. I use a trauma informed approach to create a safe space where clients are treated in a non-judgemental manner, with warmth and compassion. I believe I am a caring, sensitive person with a desire to connect in a meaningful way to provide the most appropriate and beneficial support to my clients. I draw from variety of evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy, and Mindfulness.
I provide short and/or longer-term psychological therapy for a range of conditions including:
